Batman Arkham City Game of the Year Edition is now available in the Mac App Store. The $39.99 game follows the Caped Crusader as he must once again sprint into action to save the world from mayhem.
The game is an upgraded version of Batman Arkham City, with the same plot, characters, locations, and, well, pretty much everything, being augmented by a few rather fancy GamePad features, and all of the previously downloadable-at-an-extra-cost extras being included on the disc.

The conclusion to Rocksteady's Batman Arkham City, the sequel to its predecessor Batman Arkham Asylum, left many gamers wondering where exactly the direction that the studio would take if another game was made. Some even speculated that this would be the end of Batman, and that a Superman game would be next. For now though, neither of these possibilities are going to happen.
Featuring events happening one year after those in Batman Arkham Asylum, the game first arrived on Xbox 360 video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows, in 2011. It includes Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy as the voices of the Joker and Batman, respectively.

It was announced that Rocksteady was going in a different direction. They will be focusing their efforts on a prequel of sorts for the Batman Arkham City, that's supposed to even include the Justice League and be strongly influenced by Batman's Silver Age.
